J. Wanjiku Ndugu believes in going the extra mile for each and every client. The trust, commitment and excellent full service she provides shines through in the strong relationships she continually builds and outstanding results she achieves.

A former management consultant specializing in development projects in emerging markets, J. Wanjiku also served as an investments advisor in USA, Africa and Europe for high-net-worth investors, governments and private corporations. Her keen understanding of the global economic and financial market place, the value and potential of real estate investments, and the intricacies of the NYC market place fuels her knowledge and helps clients achieve their unique real estate goals.

Born and bred in Kenya, J. Wanjiku was fortunate to receive both a local and international education from an early age. Her travel experiences began in her youth and exposed her to many different countries, cultures and people. Complementing this incomparable education were her studies in Mathematics and Chemistry, BSC and the MA degree in Applied Economics she earned from Stanford University which opened her mind to many ways of thinking.
Having lived in Africa, Europe and the USA, with extensive travel to Asia, the Caribbean and South America, J. Wanjiku enjoys serving clients who are as diverse as her experiences. She not only understands the financial process, but has passion for architecture, design and renovation. "I love working with lofts and new developments," says J. Wanjiku, "especially old conversions of commercial buildings in downtown Manhattan. It's exciting to be working in NYC with so many new buildings and conversions that feature great design and super finishes!"

A Manhattan resident since January 1994, J. Wanjiku still loves to visit Europe and Africa where she has family when time allows. She adores Manhattan, supports many activities that promote and support parks in the city, especially Central Park Conservatory and is a UNICEF Volunteer. An avid runner; she also enjoys art, jazz, opera and classical music.
