Gail Coverdale's real estate career spans over four decades where she served as on-site Leasing/Sales consultant for some of the most prominent developers in Manhattan.



Prior to joining Swig Equities, LLC as Senior Sales Associate for Sheffield57, located at 322 West 57th Street, a 845 unit residential conversion to condominium ownership, she acted as Sales Manager for the Beekman Regent, located at 350 East 52nd Street, NYC owned and developed by Dennis Herman. Known for its historic facade a 64 unit building was erected within its base and has been recognized for its innovative design.



She continued to serve as an on-site Sales Associate to the Marteting Directors for several of its buildings, most notably the Seville, developed by Trevor Davis and 150 Nassau Street developed by Itzack Tessler.



Prior to uniting with Marketing Directors, she acted as Sales Associate for Wm. & Arthur Zeckendorf's the Gotham, a 500 unit residential condominium located at 178 East 85th street, NYC.



Previously, she owned and operated The Apartment Center/Gail Coverdale Realty, a firm specializing in the on-site Sale/Rental of apartments for the medium sized developer in areas being gentrified during the 1980's i.e. the lower east side near alphabet city, 447 West 45th Street (known as the Clinton area) & on the upper West side in the 80's for Arthur Leeds and the Gershon Bros., and the vicinity of Wall Street, most notably, the Old Ship's Chandlery at 170 John Street near the Seaport and 130 Water Street for M.J. Raynes REalty, etc.



In 1980, she worked for Cross & Brown, Inc. as Vice President and Director of Residential Brokerage. There she initiated their expansion of real estate operations into the luxury residential field and established a full service sales/rental department for cooperative and condominium apartments. Prior to that she was Director of Cooperative Sales and served on the Executive Board for Sulzberger-Rolfe, Inc., which is now a part of Prudential Douglas Elliman.



Gail Coverdale, daughter of Robert J. Coverdale, a prominent hotel realtor, was affiliated with Wm. A. White & Sons in the 1970's (now Grubb & Ellis) as their first female Vice President where she sold and leased apartments to notable celebrities in the political and entertainment worlds, as well as serving as leasing consultant for the conversion of the Delmonico Hotel into a 500 unit rental building owned and operated by William Zeckendorf, Jr. it has subsequently been converted to condominium apartments and is now called Trump Park.



Gail has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York since 1970 and has lectured extensively on the Rental and Cooperative market in Manhattan.
